You can create a meeting both from global agendas and your own agendas, within your organisation. There are two ways to do this:

  1. Create a blank meeting and pull an agenda into it
  2. Create a meeting from an agenda

If you want to use an entire agenda for your meeting, then you'll likely find option 2. is the best. If you use option 1. then the meeting level outcome, purpose and description won't pull across.

Don't forget, If you want the meeting timer to work if you run the meeting in Agendali, your meeting must have a host.

Create a blank meeting and pull an agenda into it

  1. In the menu ribbon, click Meetings

  2. Click + New Meeting

  3. This will take you to a new page. You must give your meeting a Title, Start and End date to be able to save it. The Save button is on the far right hand side
You should also include a meeting level purpose and outcome. If you don't have these for your meeting, you should be questioning whether you need a meeting at all.

If you're not sure what any of the fields are for or how to use them, click/hover over the blue question mark – this will give you some help

  4. You'll notice, now you've saved your meeting, the Save button is still on the right, but some new icons have appeared too:

  5. To pull an agenda into your meeting, click the import agenda icon on the right

  6. A popup will appear with a list of available agendas to use. Agendas with the Globe symbol next to them are global agendas. Agendas with the person symbol next to them are your own agendas, that you have created. Agendas with a briefcase symbol next to them have been created and shared by someone else in your organisation

  7. If you click on the agenda name you can see an overview of the agenda, including topics, agenda purpose, outcome etc. If you want to collapse the preview of the agenda down, then click on the agenda name again

  8. To use an agenda, click on the agenda name in the popup, scroll down past the preview of the agenda to the bottom and click Use these topics

  9. The topics will now load into your meeting

  10. You can now add further topics, rearrange topics and amend what's been loaded in from the agenda. If you're not sure how to do this, look at our guide on creating a blank meeting
