This guide will tell you how to:

  • Edit your dashboard, such as change its name, description and shared users
  • Remove a dashboard
  • Rearrange your dashboard tabs
  • Rearrange dashboard content (widgets)

Edit your dashboard


How to change your dashboard name, description and shared users. 


  1. Select your dashboard, either by clicking on its name in the tab or selecting it from the dashboard list in the top left


  2. Once you are on the dashboard you wish to edit, click the edit icon in the top right


  3. In the pop-up make your necessary changes, and click Save

  4. Your dashboard is now updated 

Removing your dashboard


If you remove a dashboard that is shared with other users, then it will be removed for them as well.

Important note: Permissions for dashboards work slightly differently than elsewhere. At present, if a user has access to a shared dashboard they can delete it, and this will delete it for all other users too.


To see how to edit user permissions click here (please note you must be an admin in your organisation to do this). 


  1. Select your dashboard, either by clicking on its name in the tab or selecting it from the dashboard list in the top left



  2. Once you are on the dashboard you wish to edit, click the delete icon in the top right


  3. A pop-up box will appear asking you to confirm you want to delete the project, as deletions cannot be undone. Click Yes

  4. Your dashboard is now deleted for yourself and any users it was shared with

Rearranging your dashboard tabs


You can reorder the dashboards you have favourited. 


  1. Click the up/down arrows in the top right


  2. This will give you a popup with a list of all of your dashboards that have tabs

  3. Click and drag to rearrange them


  4. Click Save

  5. Your dashboards have been reordered

Rearranging dashboard content (widgets)


You can rearrange the widgets on your dashboard.


  1. Select the dashboard you want to rearrange

  2. Click on the Order Widgets button in the top right


  3. In the pop-up, click and drag your widgets to reorder them
    Note: if gauges are put next to each then they will sit three in a row, rather than stacking


  4. Click Save

  5. Your widgets are now reordered
